What we do

John & Jo carry out regular garden maintenance independently in small gardens and together in larger gardens and spaces covering all your horticultural needs. Examples include: pruning, propagation, planting, weeding, soil cultivation and conditioning, designing planting plans, creating new borders, managing and creating wildflower areas and providing wildlife sensitive area (such as SSSI) management.

John has a degree in Countryside Management and worked as a Countryside Ranger before stepping into gardening, he obtained his RHS level 2 Diploma in 2014 and uses his horticultural expertise in combination with his extensive knowledge of British wildlife to ensure his gardens work visually, functionally and provide maximum support for biodiversity.

Jo has a masters in Conservation Project Management and a certificate in Organic Gardening, she also worked as a Ranger before starting Eco Garden Care with John, she uses her experience in ecology and habitat management to ensure her gardens are wildlife havens. Jo also works as a Freelance Field Ecologist and provides advise and support for rewilding and landscape restoration projects.
